Meet New FRIENDS!!!

Last Thursday, I attended my friends' party. THere was a girl that I already knew this girl was also invited. Actually it's one of the reason why I wouldn't want to miss the said party.

Well, it was cool, lots of beers and chit-chats. But one thing I'll never forget, that I had a great time with this girl. She's simple but elegant. Matured and fun to be with.

But too bad she has a boyfriend. However, I'm persistent. I wanna be closer to her... Have a deep friendship, that is.

Now, I'm enjoying my life. I found new reasons to enjoy everything that life can give. At least I feel I'm real, and not being handicapped and contained by work and pressures that it brings.

Living in a minimum wage...

There are so many people and families in the world living in a minimum wage. 

Question: "Minimum wage is enough to supply our basic needs?"

I wonder how they live and think of their tomorrow. Yes, it can provide food for the day. Just the food for the day! How about the other expenses such as clothings, house needs, etc. If ever they don't own a house, the rent. How much is it? Almost 30% of their monthly income. Yes, averagely anywhere in the world, the rent costs 30% of their monthly minimum wage. How about if they get sick? Consultations and medicines, how can they afford it? Yes again, we do have health centers and free medicines but there are some that only accepts around 20 patients a day. Also, around 50 patients visits the clinic and only 20 were being accepted?

They need to balance the expenses onl their necessities. Imagine these people eat bread the whole day. Some are noodles. Any food that is cheap and can sustain them. What nutrients can they have to be fit for their work? They might get sick and more expenses will be needed. If they're going to focus on their food, what about the other expenses? Having a healthy but cheap foods yeah that's the best thing. But for them it's not cheap! Having those foods are beyond their food allowance. Doing that will cause debts and uncertainty.

May they find and have their wishes come true. They are the silent heroes of the world. Working for the company, giving service but they don't receive service from the other. They are martyrs of the new world...

Baby Suri...

Baby Suri was born on April 18. After 4 and 1/2 passed and at last Baby Suri made her world debut.

I wonder what made it long to tell the world of Baby Suri. There's lots of issues roaming around and specualtions if Suri really exists. Also, some speculations Suri is not their child. The one in the vanity fair was just a Rent-a-Baby route. Some tells, Suri's true parents are Keanu Reeves and Bjork (based from the facial features).

I dunno what the truth is. I'm not after the looks of the baby. What I'm interested of, why it took so long? Baby Suri, is it their child or not? If it's not theirs, who's Baby Suri's parents? What happened to their child?

Filipinos, Philippines, the GOOD and the BAD

Foreign nationals and also fellow Filipinos almost dig the grave for Philippines. There are also some people who raises the Philippine Flag.

Yes! We have great people that stands high above others. In every aspects, sports, leadership, knowledge, discoveries, education, technology, inventions, etc...

Also Yes! We are known for being hoodlums, scallywags, terrorist plots, several negative items.

I'm so ashamed that I'm a Filipino but not as that. I'm ashamed of what do people think of us. I'm ashamed of what other Filipinos had done. It's not me, it's them!

Why are we suffering? Those Filipinos who's dying for his country and yet they receive the karma of the other. What can we do? Is it worth dying for, or the Filipinos are dying?

Don't you think our country is sinking? If it's sinking, what should we do? Run and jump over the sea? Leave the ship and forget the others? Rush to the boats, take the lifevests and leave the others to secure ourself?

Imagine a fruit stand, all fruits came from a high quality fruit farm. A rottened fruit were just placed with them. All other fruits were affected by it and beginned to have smelly stinky odor.

This is like what we are now! The others are being affected which is not supposed to be! It's not a good practice to separate the rotting fruit and the good ones. You can't say if the good one you picked were not affected. But it carries the bacteria that soon will make the fruit rot.

No matter how much effort we give in increasing the quality of our people, as long as there are rotting bastards, we'll never get out of it.

To the fruit stand, it will be better to dispose all of these fruits, whether good or bad ones. Don't forget to clean the rack...

Kristin Kreuk a 5'4" gal. Plays the role of Lana Lang in Smallville. I really like the way she act and it seems so natural. If the personality of Lana Lang is not far from her...my God I swear I'll give up everything just to have her. Bad thing is she's short, I stand 6'. She was born on December 30, 1982. Almost perfect! Just 4 months older than her. 

"Crocodile Hunter" died

Steve Irwin died while filming for their series called "Ocean's Deadliest". He was at Batt Reef, Queensland State. Irwin swam too close at the stingray and the stingray's barb went up on him.

See how he dedicate himself for wildlife for us to see the wonders of it? We'll never hear him again shouting "Crikey". It's a big loss for Discovery Network, for the wildlife and for us too!

He's the man who opened our eyes and see the wonders of widlife. Kinda scary but he's enjoying it. He's so adventurous!

He died on service and dedication to his work. Let's pray for him!

Who's gonna replace him now for Crocodile Hunters? Someone that's a real ambassador for wildlife, a conservationist, who's passionate and dedicated. 

Abortion...is it MORAL?

An ABORTION is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in, or caused by, its death. This can occur spontaneously as a miscarriage, or be artificially induced through chemical, surgical or other means. Commonly, "abortion" refers to an induced procedure at any point in the pregnancy; medically, it is defined as a miscarriage or induced termination before twenty weeks gestation, which is considered nonviable.

Having an abortion takes several reasons. It can be good or bad. It depends on the person how he interpret the situation and how it is analyzed.

"A mother would think nothing but the best for her child" 

Just think of this, when having an abortion...it is not just the child or the fetus you'll take into the account. Also the mother, she might die from it! It's a risk then why she'll do that? 'Coz as from her conscience, it's the best thing!

Beauty or Brains?

Which do you prefer BEAUTY or BRAINS?

Beauty is what we always see.
It is a value associated with an innate and emotional perception of life's affirmative and meaningful aspects within objects in the perceived world.

Brains would never be noticed if you never intent to.
It is a property of mind that encompasses many related mental abilities, such as the capacities to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend ideas and language, and learn.

There are some folks who says "Beauty without Brains" or "Brains without Beauty".
Though some both have and some has nothing.

For me, I do prefer BRAINS.

NURSING BOARD...Who's gonna PAY?

I'm also a professional particularly a licensed ECE. I just wonder about the recent nursing board. It's a burden for them, burden for other registered nurses, problems on employment either local or abroad, and also an alarm for other professionals.

The time I've taken the board, while having the exam I came to think about what kind of professional regulation do we have. It's a professional regulation but they themselves doesn't have the quality and regualtion for the exam.

On my experience (ECE License Board), they gave a bonus for a question which they thought the given data where incomplete. But actually there is a certain principle behind it and can be answered even the data is incomplete. So many questions with misspelled words, wrong item asked, wrong units, typographical errors, etc. Damn! It's a professional regulation!

On the results, my scores were lower than I expected. Specially math! I aimed to be a topnotcher that time and until now I can't accept the result. I studied hard, which almost made me frustrated and sacrificed everything. Every minute was crucial, I even study while on a bus. I read several books, e-books, surf the net, magazines, etc...which might have at least relevance to the possible questions in the exam.

To think of the hardships of the nursing students who took the board last June, they gave all their best! Taking again the said board is unnecessary! Admit it guys, fellow professionals, once the board is over, the things that we had acquired and read were all gone though some retains. It would be hard for them to prepare for it again if that happens.

What will happen for retaking the exam? A student who fails then retaking it and passed? A student who passed then retaking it and failed? What the heck!!!

Being strict for the employment of this batch of nurses? What the hell! It's unfair! The PRC should be reformed!

How did the leakage happened? Why there were leakages? Pointing out the culprits is one major step but it must not end there! They should be more strict and be more professional and have some quality exams! I'm a QC Engineer and what always on my mind is being ahead of time. Answering the problem is not just pointing out the cause but also preventing it to happen again and being ahead before a posssible problem would occur.

Career in the Philippines

Tell me what's your profession? Is that your career you're working on? What can you say about your work? Your salary? Your working environment? Your boss? Your company? The industry?

Have you thought of this, "Am I enjoying my career here in the Philippines? Will I stay on this career forever? In this company? In this indsutry?

How's your salary? Your promotion? Your boss? Your company? The industry?

Why so many professionals have no work but instead engaged in an industry different from their career? Professionals but working 180' different from their profession? Professional work has lower salary than a non pro work? Why? Why do doctors rather want to be a nurse? Why do doctors, engineers, architects, etc. end in a call center industry? For worst, end to nothing!?

Individuals from call centers have higher salary than the one who designed the products they provide for?

Do you know that jeepney drivers or any non pro occupation tends to have higher income than professionals? Example: bus, jeepney, taxi, drivers, balot vendor, taho vendor. They dont pay tax!

Figure this: A bus driver normally gets P1000 in one day (8hrs). Don't react on this but its true! I had a feasibility study about e-fare system on aircon buses so I'd also studied this. P1K a day and no tax to pay! (I'm saying tax over their income just what professionals have...on their salary)

Many professionals rather work abroad than to rot here on its own land. Why? What are the professional development we can have here? Work as a professional and develop yourself a mm higher or even microns higher. Damn your slower than a snail or a turtle! Damn it! (Coz of crab mentality, work environment, lack of interest on work, not the chosen career, etc.!)

CAREER HERE IS DEAD!!! Just to stay alive and kickin' you need to be wise, disregard professionalism and the career you want, and pray for luck!

The best line I can describe a career here: "I would rather be a seller than to be the inventor or designer of what I sell." "If ever Einstein, Watts, Maxwell, Edison, Faraday live during this time, they will be regarded as rats and pests." "From what we have now, following their footsteps would mean craziness...so sad."
